Berlin sequencer Thomas Pahl aka Vertical67 skews his latest slab of Sim City acid away from the lovers lanes of his last SILK outing, Soulmates, towards a new nocturnal sphere. Faded neon, rubber bass, fluorescent synths, and Roland rhythms interweave across expanses spheric interior zones – an Aura pervades.

The EP’s 5 tracks evoke various states of mind: windswept, ecstatic, restless. Pahl’s ambient work as The Coloured Chaos bleeds at the periphery, a sense of fluidity and weightlessness, fluttering between microchips like an android’s haunted thoughts.
